Atty. Gino, as known to his peers, brings to VAL Law a wealth of experience both locally and overseas. After graduating from Ateneo de Manila School of Law in 2009, he started his legal career with the firm founded by his late grandfather, Justice Ricardo C. Puno, Sr, Puno & Puno Law Offices. After years of practice domestically, Atty. Gino obtained his Master of Laws degree from Fordham University School of Law in New York City. He was then invited to join the world-renowned, Latham & Watkins LLP, where he served as an International Attorney in the Mergers and Acquisitions and Project Finance Departments. Immediately prior to finding a permanent home in VAL Law, Atty. Gino made a final stop with the Investment Banking Group of First Metro Investment Corporation.

Today, with his vast experience in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, special projects, project financing, and estate planning, Atty. Puno further reinforces VAL Law’s strength in corporate, banking and commercial law practice areas. In addition, Atty. Puno now spearheads the firm’s emerging tech law practice area, specializing in emerging technologies and serving as a consultant to several tech start-ups looking to expand their businesses into profitable ventures.
