VAL Laws technology law practice may be as simple as legal and business incorporation, then progresses to more complex exercises such as spearheading fund raising initiatives – whether through debt or equity, client navigation through the regulatory framework for financial technology platforms, innovations in artificial intelligence, blockchain mediums and enterprises, the mining of virtual currencies, data privacy and security, cybercrime and prevention, e-commerce platforms, information technology programs, the Internet and its uses, and intellectual property use and protection, among others.  VAL Law also actively participates in crafting the emerging legal and regulatory framework in the technology space through consultancy initiatives with the relevant government agencies and personnel allowing it to provide its clients with insights as to the regulatory landscape surrounding its business ventures.

VAL Law’s Technology Law practice is headed by Atty. Reginald Anton J. Puno, who currently represents several of the most relevant technology and online platforms in the Philippines today.  Atty. Puno holds a Master of Laws Degree from Fordham University School of Law with specific focus on emerging technologies.  Atty. Puno further relies on his experience on matters handled in this field during his time with Latham & Watkins LLC in New York City.
