VAL Law 3rd Year Anniversary
On 7 July 2020, VAL Law celebrates its 3rd year anniversary.
In spite of the pandemic affecting the way we do business, the Firm found innovative and creative ways to cope with the challenging times. We are proud to share that despite these trying circumstances, the Firm continues to grow towards exceeding our client’s needs and demands. Since the Firm’s establishment in 2017, we have now tripled in size – our team is now fourteen (14) lawyers strong.
Parallel to our increase in manpower, the growth of the Firm’s practice has also been remarkable. We have always been proud to highlight the diversity in our partners’ respective expertise. But as we cap off our 3rd year, we are equally proud to have constantly catered to a diverse clientele, consisting of a healthy combination of domestic and multinational companies belonging to a wide range of industries, including the specialized fields of mining, technology and communication, real estate, construction, banking and finance, healthcare, general and industrial safety, automotive, professional sports and entertainment, to name a few. We have also been able to grow our litigation portfolio as we continue to handle sophisticated and complex litigation matters from novel to unprecedented, high-stakes to pressing – those that we aim to be precedent setting for the country’s legal landscape.
From a global perspective, we have continued to strengthen our relationships with a number of international law firms, and take pride in collaborating with them on various mergers & acquisitions, government bids and other special projects. To further establish our footprint in the worldwide legal network, VAL Law is also proud to announce forthcoming affiliate international offices.
The Firm is likewise grateful to have received recognition the past year, as it was named finalists for Rising Law Firm of the Year and Innovative Technologies Law Firm of the Year by Asian Legal Business in the last Philippine Law Awards.
The Firm would like to deeply thank its growing family of lawyers and support staff. All this growth and recognition would not have been possible without their dedication and hard work. We also thank our families and loved ones for their endless support.
